Getting Started

KnockTracer map and property workflow

Navigate the live map, select a property, review provider and serviceability details, and log your next action in one screen.

Overview

The **Map** view gives field reps a single workspace to see all saved prospects, click into homes or businesses for full provider context, and immediately log what happens next—whether that's a callback, a knock, or moving the deal forward.

Every property on the map shows its current provider, competitive serviceability, field history, and recommended next step. Reps spend less time switching between screens and more time moving deals through the pipeline.

How To

  1. **Open the Map view** from the main navigation to see all saved prospects plotted by address.
  1. **Click any property marker** on the map to open its detail card with provider, status, and next-step information.
  1. **Review the provider details**, including current ISP, competitor availability, and account status (e.g., already a customer, warm lead, cold prospect).
  1. **Check the next action label** to see what the system recommends—callback, door knock, follow-up email, or handoff to install ops.
  1. **Update the property status** or log your outcome (door knock completed, callback scheduled, no answer, sold) directly from the detail view.
  1. **Close the card** and navigate to the next marker, or use the property list to jump between addresses without scrolling the map.

Tips

  • **Orange markers** indicate prospects or competitive accounts; **blue markers** show existing customers who may be up for upgrades or retention plays.
  • **Selected properties auto-zoom** and display a popup with quick-reference detail—great for planning your route before heading into the field.
  • **Use the popup as a cheat sheet** when you arrive at the door: it shows provider, status, and your last interaction so you can open with context.
  • **Log outcomes immediately** while you're still in the driveway—this keeps follow-ups from slipping and gives leadership real-time visibility into field activity.

Questions

**What happens when I click a property on the map?** The map centers on that address, highlights the marker, and opens a popup with provider, status, and next-step detail. You can update the prospect or log an outcome without leaving the map screen.

**Can I see properties that aren't in my assigned territory?** That depends on your workspace permissions. Most reps see only their assigned territories, but managers and admins can view the full market to coordinate handoffs and prevent double-knocking.
