Overview
**Field route replay** lets you watch the actual path a rep took during a shift. When a rep starts a route in the mobile app, KnockTracer records GPS location points in the background. After the route ends, managers can replay the trail to see which streets were worked, how much ground was covered, and whether the route matched the plan. Route replay helps verify field activity, coach route efficiency, and troubleshoot gaps between planned and actual coverage.
How To
- **Navigate to Routes** from the main menu.
- **Select a field route** from the list on the left. You'll see the rep's name, route status (active or completed), the number of GPS points collected, and when the route started.
- **View the GPS trail** in the map panel. The blue dot marks the starting location, the gold dot marks the end, and the green line shows the path traveled between recorded points.
- **Review route details** below the map, including start time and location collection notes.
Tips
- Only routes deliberately started in the mobile app appear in the replay list—background location or manual knocks won't create a route session.
- GPS accuracy depends on the rep's device settings, signal strength, and whether location permissions are enabled in the mobile app.
Questions
**Q: Why don't I see every door the rep knocked?** A: Route replay shows the GPS trail, not individual door stops. To see which properties were worked, open the **Prospect** records and filter by rep and date.
**Q: Can I replay a route that's still active?** A: Yes. Active routes show real-time GPS points as they're uploaded from the field.
