Overview

KnockTracer routes organize your day around four priorities: **fresh targets** (new addresses in your territory), **callbacks** (scheduled follow-ups), **existing service** locations (homes or businesses already using a competitor), and **general prospects** saved by your team.

Each morning, the system layers those priorities over your assigned territories to build a logical door sequence that minimizes drive time and keeps high-value callbacks from slipping through the cracks.

Territories define *where* you can work. Routes define *which doors, in which order* you knock each day.

How To

**Build and run a territory-based route:**

  1. **Check your territory assignment**

Open **Territories** to confirm which markets, ZIP codes, or polygons are assigned to you. If nothing appears, ask your manager to assign coverage.

  1. **Review today's callbacks first**

Navigate to **Follow-ups** and filter by *Due Today* or *Overdue*. KnockTracer will prioritize these addresses at the top of your route.

  1. **Open the Routes screen**

Tap **Routes** and select **Build Route**. The system scans your territories for callback appointments, fresh targets flagged by integrations, and existing-service addresses pulled from provider data.

  1. **Confirm or adjust the sequence**

Review the ordered list. Callbacks appear first, followed by high-priority prospects (like fiber-ready homes), then general canvassing targets. Drag to reorder if you know a street will be more efficient in reverse.

  1. **Start knocking**

Tap **Start Route** to activate turn-by-turn guidance. Each door displays provider detail, prior touch history, and recommended talk tracks.

  1. **Log outcomes in real time**

Mark each stop as *Not Home*, *Not Interested*, *Follow-Up Scheduled*, or *Sold*. New callbacks automatically join tomorrow's route priority list.

Tips

  • **Callbacks always float to the top.** If you schedule a 2 PM appointment, KnockTracer will slot it into your route before general canvassing targets in the same area.
  • **"Existing service" means competitive intel.** Addresses flagged with Comcast, Spectrum, or AT&T show up as warm leads because you already know the incumbent and can tailor your pitch.
  • **Fresh targets come from integrations.** If your team connects a fiber-construction feed or new-mover list, those addresses appear as high-priority route stops the same day they go live.
  • **Adjust territory boundaries as you learn.** If a neighborhood consistently produces no-answers or hostile responses, ask your manager to reassign it and focus your hours where close rates prove higher.

Questions

**Q: Can I work outside my assigned territory?** A: You can manually add any address as a prospect, but route-building and fresh-target assignment only pull from your official territory polygons. If you want to expand, request a territory update from your team admin.

**Q: What happens if I skip a callback on my route?** A: It stays in your follow-up queue and will reappear as overdue tomorrow. Skipped callbacks do not disappear—KnockTracer keeps them visible until you log a final outcome or reschedule. ```
