Overview
The **Platform Admin Console** gives KnockTracer operations staff centralized visibility into all workspaces, user activity, integrations, support sessions, and billing. Platform admins can audit workspace changes, review feature requests, monitor external API usage, track field routes across all customers, and view financial summaries. Access is restricted to authorized operations personnel and requires separate platform admin credentials.
How To
- **Log in to the admin console**
Navigate to `/admin/login` and sign in with your platform admin credentials. Regular workspace user accounts cannot access the admin console.
- **Review the operations dashboard**
After login, you'll see the admin sidebar with sections for **Platform**, **Operations**, **Finance**, and **Support**. Each section groups related administrative tools.
- **Navigate to a specific admin view**
Click any item in the sidebar to open its detail page:
- **Workspaces** – View all customer workspaces, subscription status, and team sizes
- **Audit Log** – Review platform-wide activity and workspace configuration changes
- **System Health** – Monitor uptime, sync status, and integration health
- **Field Routes** – See active and completed routes across all customer workspaces
- **Usage** – Track door knocks, follow-ups, and pipeline activity by workspace
- **Support Sessions** – View open and resolved support requests
- **Feature Requests** – Review customer feature requests and QA feedback
- **Integrations** – Manage partner feeds and OAuth client configurations
- **External Usage** – Monitor AI, SMS, and email API consumption
- **Platform Costs** – Review infrastructure and third-party service expenses
- **Financials** – View revenue summaries and billing health
- **Billing** – Manage workspace subscriptions and payment details
- **Use filters and search**
Most admin views include filters by date range, workspace, or status. Use these to narrow large data sets before exporting or drilling into details.
Tips
- Platform admin access is separate from workspace admin roles—you cannot use your workspace login to access the operations console.
- The audit log records all platform-level changes, including workspace creation, integration edits, and permission updates.
- Field route replay is available in the admin console for all workspaces, making it easier to troubleshoot route coverage or GPS gaps without switching accounts.
- External usage tracking helps identify workspaces with abnormal API consumption before costs spike.
Questions
**Q: Can workspace admins access the platform admin console?** A: No. The platform admin console is restricted to KnockTracer operations staff. Workspace admins manage their own team, settings, and integrations through the standard workspace interface.
**Q: What is the difference between the workspace audit log and the platform audit log?** A: The workspace audit log tracks changes within a single customer workspace (team edits, territory updates, pipeline moves). The platform audit log tracks system-wide changes across all workspaces, including integrations, billing, and operations console activity.
**Q: Where do I see billing details for a specific workspace?** A: Navigate to **Billing** in the admin console sidebar, then filter or search for the workspace by name or ID. You'll see subscription status, payment method, and recent invoices.
